Riders in the Mine Woods, Bridge of Allan - Please take note -

It has come to light that a local Councillor has heard of some disturbing news about the Mine Woods. He has been told that riders have destroyed and removed saplings to create a new jump in a well-used trail by walkers. This is causing a problem as it creates aggravation at the trail and makes walkers complain to the local Councillor's who will take action to prevent this damage - perhaps in banning bikes and removing the jumps.

I received an e-mail from the local Councillor who told me that he has seen this for himself as he walks his dog in the woods on a regular basis.

If you know anyone responsible for creating these jumps, please talk to them and ask them to stop destroying these saplings and build the jumps on less used trails.
