In addition to the 2 other groups on a saturday the club also organises when necessary what we are calling Development Rides. These are an opportunity for beginners to road cycling riding to develop the skills of group riding whilst learning the tricks of the trade and also get used to the distance and pace that occur when riding in the main bunch on a saturday.

The Development rides really cater for the needs of those coming into the club for the first time. Normally these start in the spring when the weather changes and people have dusted off their bikes having been stored away through the dark and wet winters.
