Also Elaine will not be out also, not sure on Lesley tho

Great weekend at Kirroughtree for the Ten event. Shaz, Craig ( my bro) and I managed 9 laps with a respectable time . Shame about my mechanical disaster on lap 2!! Chain split, deraileur bent, then broke off when a kind chap who stopped tried to help!! Then had to run the next 6 miles with the bike, freewheeling when possible downhill, that is until the back wheel fell off. Not a good lap for me. Still once fixed , i went onto do a 3rd lap, but not quickly enough to recover our 2nd place position.. Great company again and a superb course.
Any girls out tonight?

What time? Met someone last week who is interested in coming along...I'll text her the location and start time so she knows.

Good ride on monday, just in time before wet weather sets in again! Turbo training nights during the winter. Can I suggest 8pm on a thursday. As most of you will know I have large basement so this can be a possible venue. If any1 interested let me know. Lesley, Lettie and myself are so far interested! Plan is for a good cardio session, I can usually hack out an hour. However if people need longer or shorter thats fine. I'm sure we will be starting steady and building up as we go along. Teas, coffee and snacks after with chitt chatt essenially in there to
Oh as for start date what about 24th September. U don't have to have a road bike to turbo, I have a turbo that runs on the rim or you can change ur back tire and put on a slick. Turbo's come in a variety starting @ reasonably cheap to super expensive. Also if any1 doesn't have one I'm sure we will find loads within the club that we can borrow which are collecting dust and haven't been used for awhile!
