Moidart June 5th.
I can take one more with me.
I am travelling with Andy Sowerby.
Leave Stirling 7am and Dunblane approx 7:15am.

Only condition of being a passenger is they keep the driver awake.
Screams are usually effective!

As most people might realise, my personal secretary (and most excellent tandem partner) Angela is writing this as I am grammatically challenged. So I am dictating this from the chaise longue...

Just in case anyone doesn't know where the ride starts from: park at the Corran Ferry (8 miles South of  Fort William), then we all go over on the ferry with bikes only. Meeting at 10.00 a.m. (at the Ferry).

Splintered memories rising up through the fog of time...

I've been in touch with the well mannered host of the Lochailort Inn and let him know that 10ish rather sweaty cyclist will be dropping in for luncheon.  So remember to bring some pennies with you too.

And she's just made his dinner, and washed his bike and.....

I'll pop along too - happy to receive a lift or offer others a lift.

Think the Cowal trip is now down for July 25th!

Moidart Report
I am amazed nobody posted a report of this trip.  I can only assumed everyone present thought they must have imagined it.  Fantastic weather, mostly quiet roads, no mechanicals, no incidents just one annoying taxi- just a great day.

Lunch deserves a new paragraph.
The Lochailort Inn provided good nosh.  There were two views on what to select. Most went with the tuna sandwich and soup option (not too heavy for the second half of the ride).  The remain two went with the soup option plus venison burger.  The latter was the option for that protein fix.

If I have worked this here post properly there should be some random photos below including a scary one of me at the end of the ride before I had surgery to remove the grin.  Thanks for a great day out.

Stuart
