FS: Snowboard with bindings and boots
« on: July 29, 2011, 04:51:32 PM »
Hey folks,

I have a 160cm Trans Ltd snowboard (from the same factory that produces Volkl and Choc) with bindings and a pair of size 10 boots.

The board has been very well looked after and has done me proud as I've learned. It received a small amount of damage to it's top surface up in Aviemore last winter when some complete spoon ran over the tip and lifted about an inch square of the top layer of laminate. This was repaired in the Ski / Board shop in Brightons (Falkirk), a bumper strip was added to safeguard the front of the board and it was also waxed and edged at the same time.

It's a brilliant beginners setup for those looking to give snowboarding a go. I'm looking for around the £80 mark for the lot.

Cheers Beagy

This is still up for sale folks. Although maybe not for long as I've been contacted by a very nice chap who wishes to buy (although unfortunately not in person as he's currently working in Finland), it for his cousin in West Africa. Who would've thought that Nigeria had a burgeoning snowboard scene!  ::)

We drove down to the Cape a number of years back from Jo'burg and who would have thought that you could go through Newcastle then Dundee and then Bethlehem all within a 100 or so miles!

This park isn't so good for the board tho' - 1 piste and 0.5 miles long?? The Warriors would have a ball at all the free ride stuff though!!

Hey Beagy,
Is this still for sale?  I may be interested.  I'm a novice snowboarder, so would need to know the board length was suitable.  Also I'm 5'8" which is a bit shorter than you I'm sure. Fortunately I am gifted with someone else's Size 10 feet, but would obvioulsy need to try the boots for size.

Yep, still for sale. I turned down the Nigerian scammer's kind offer to lighten my wallet. Drop me a line if you want to pop over and check the stuff out. I'm sure we can work out a nice SBC deal.  ;)
