Excellent, I'm always happy to laugh at you Richard. It's so easy.
See you tonight,

Just in case I fancy a wee spin tonight....no promises mind you!
Is the entrance at the cadger loan side or the back way next to glen road just off the A9 OR somewhere totally different?

I believe the meeting point will be the Miner's Helmet in the main car park? Not sure when the gates will close but I'll park somewhere and then be there...this is going on a very hazy recollection of previous rides that Beagey used to suggest as I'm sure the helmet was the meeting point.
I'm likely to park up at the Torwood side of the park and ride in...either at the Old Plean end of the park (next to where the coal merchant used to live) or in Torwood.

We generally meet at the main entrance on Cadger's Loan as the gates are usually closed at dark. There are a couple of laybys that you can park in, just before and after the gates as well as at them. We tend to meet at the Miner's Big Heid (it's a memorial statue) in the summer. Hopefully it should be a good ride tonight as the worst of the muddy bits will have dried out, and the well drained bits (the majority of the ride) should be running superfast.

Hey guys,
Sorry for missing you John, I was already on my way when you'd posted up and I hung around at the gates for a good 10mins in case anyone was going to show. As it was I headed around Plean, then up to Torwood (climbing the usual descent and doing the woodland trail backwards), before zipping back down to Dunipace. Just out for the two hours, but most of the trails were pretty dry allowing me to keep up a head of steam, and thus, just ahead of the huge big monster in the woods that tracked me all night!
Again, sorry for not waiting longer. Having been given a bling new phone means that I'm tucking it away in the deepest pocket of my bag and I just didn't hear it ringing over my laboured breathing and the constant crashing of whatever denizen of the deep was following me in the trees.

Not me I'm afraid. I may have had one or two 'birthday drinks' last night, and although my mind still thinks I'm a youngster, my body is currently screaming for mercy.
I'm going for a wee lie down in my lab now.
