Really good ride, had a great time! Weather was fantastic as well.
Any rides planned for Bank Holiday Monday?

I'm not out tonight but its the Dumyat Hill Race so if anyone is planning a ride north side it might be busy in Uni Woods and on Yat. Race starts at 7.30

Hmmm, glad I spent valuable riding time last night fixing up my hardtail so I could go for a ride tonight.
Unless the weather improves remarkably, and I'm talking the sun splitting the skies and steam rising from the trails as they dry out so quickly, I doubt I'll be out for tonight's club ride.
Looks like those darned Helghast are in for another pasting tonight.

Stirling Council and the Police have received reports of obstructions placed on the path in Kippenrait Glen including a log/branch with nails in.
If you encounter any obstructions please take photos and pass the details (time place etc) onto the police at Bridge of Allan Police Station (Emma Roxburgh) and council (Penny Stoddard) as well.

Ride safe.

No sorry. Had to much getting drenched this week already. You know it is wet when you bike comes home cleaner than when you started out! Yesterday and I expect again today I'll be riding in the extended canal (the canal path is under water for the length go my journey mostly). Hmmm getting expensive going through brake pads and I'm not braking?! (they are set up correctly

Hey Stewie, currently relaxing with a few 'wee drinkies'. Provided I don't get out of hand, I'll be out tomorrow. See you at Costa's about 9ish.

Are you claiming that there's no resemblance to the youngest member of the Family Guy clan?

Thanks for that folks...sorry it was a totally bikeable route but it was good as a variance!
I've got myself a heart rate monitor and it recorded a max beat of 217...not whilst riding up to the car park (where I felt like death warmed up)...but as I was biking into Stirling - I got tucked in behind a bus and it was skipping along...turns out that was the most excitement I could generate for it.
I'm sure this isn't a good sign, but given how much diet cola I drink with the sweeteners, I'm guessing my heart rate is a touch high anyway...going by the rest of the ride, it seems to have hit a high of about 195 for the actual proper biking.
Crikey, I'm incredibly boring...again, sorry!
