Sorry, just got back in from Dumyat. I'm still carrying an injury from Saturday's ride and am just a bit too sore for another loop tonight.

Folks,
Anyone planning to be out for tomorrow's Saturday ride - weather
looks half-decent? I'll be a Costa's at 9ish.

I'm heading off to the cinema tonight. Catwoman is calling me.....
Anyway, who fancies a blast out from King's park tomorrow night? 7pm at the wee pedestrian gate where the bus shelter used to be. Post up or drop me a line if you're up for it. Mind bring some lights though.

It was really good having you along Chad. Hopefully it wont be too long before you can make it out for another ride as we've got loads more to show you!
Last night's ride was really good though. We skipped Cambu woods in favour of the horrible climb round the back then the blast through the quarry. The final wee path out of the quarry is so overgrown though that we were almost down to drawing straws to see who went first. As it turned out, it didn't really matter as everyone screamed at some point as we were scratched stung and bitten to bits!
We took the road up to the old pump station then circuited the loch before climbing up to the Trig point. Chad, on his jump bike with semi slick tyres was somewhat disadvantaged in the muddy conditions, but he kept his humour and hung on in till we got to the fun stuff.
Up on the cliffs the going was damp bit good and we had a great time as we bopped along the singletrack. At the middle cliff I opted to take the lower 'bypass' route as the pace was just a wee bit too high for me and I was starting to bounce off stuff like a pinball. On the final cliff, as the pictures show, Josephine had decided I'd had enough and refused to take me down the drop. She probably new best. The final section was superb as usual with the bracken so high at points it felt like you were plunging underneath it at times. Awesome!
Thanks for coming out and keeping me company. See you all at Costa's coffee shop, across from Graham Tiso's at 9am tomorrow for cake before we hit the trails again around 9.30am
Beagy
