Great course. Again, quite suited to a mtb. My legs failed to turn up to the party, but great fun nontheless.
Outstanding performances by many of the Warriors. There was the usual plethora of good results and podiums. Particular highlights are:
- Ross Field (first podium place, and competing in the U12M aged 9),
- Anna Reid and Clare McNeish (U8F 1 / 2 - Anna has not be officially recognised in the results yet. The next wave of Warrior gals...?),
- Logan Dow (well deserved 3rd in the U14M - particularly impressive on a full suss mtb with fat tyres. Matthew Peters had better watch out...) and
- Phillipa Samphire getting 2nd in the U14F after a dnf at Plean
All particularly impressive given that we'd given them all a beasting on Saturday at the road away day in Tulliallan.
The vets had their own separate race, so we got to watch the women / juniors racing. Great result for Gr. Benny C and a very close finish - need to work on those remounts though
Oh, and coach John did ok as well...
