World Santa Cross Champs- now with video

Whilst you were all wining and dining at the SBC Awards this weekend, 15 warriors and 13 warrior parents braved the storms and snow for a trip to Mull. There was an action packed weekend of racing which completed the Scottish CX Series for 2011 and included the World's Santa Cross Championship on the Sunday. After battling the snowy roads on the island to get to Glengorm Castle the warriors and parents didn't dissappoint (apart from me who was the only one not to race
).
Some fantastic results all round which can be found here
http://www.scottishcyclocross.org.uk/
.
Full series results available soon but announced on Sunday;
U16 girls
2nd Erika Allen
U14 girls
2nd Rhona Callander
3rd Philippa Samphier
Well done to all
Rachel

The Under 10 Boys World Champion will be hoping that he gets a contract with Team Sky next year - at least he'll have a chance of getting a decent chain - not one thats off his dad's old bike and would fit an Indian Rickshaw Drivers Fixie!

Never mind the young whipper snappers! The club has its first ever WORLD champion in Santacross:
Oliver Samphier Oliver Samphier Oliver Samphier Oliver Samphier Oliver Samphier Oliver Samphier Oliver Samphier Oliver Samphier Oliver Samphier Oliver Samphier Oliver Samphier
As you can see, a much more realistic age (and build) for a Santa!
The rest of champions would be better as elves!
Well done Olly! (and Mrs Claus - who sadly had a mechanical on her sleigh but there's always next year!)

The woman between Ollie and Louise seems to be impressed about something. Or is that how much he won by?
