Good home wanted - 19" rigid steel MTB (needs TLC)

I have an old 19" Dimondback rigid MTB going to anyone in exchange for a bottle of red (or similar  ;D)

It was c.1990's, a good bike at the time. The frame is ok - I have put on some terrible manitou forks, but still have the original rigid ones (you will need a quil stem to re fit them)

All the running gear and brakes were replaced when I inherited it as my first MTB (from my BF at the time as he moved onto full sus... c 2002) so it has old, but functioning, 9 speed shimano.

Both wheels were goosed, I have replaced the front with a spare (again used) but it will need a replacement 9 speed rear wheel.

Will make a great pub bike - I used it as a pub bike / commuter for a while, but it really is far too big for me.

Will post photos if I can find any.

PM me or call oh77six524two38oh

Jo

EDIT: Frame is similar to this (Black with pink swirls) looks like a 1990 ascent. But nothing else is original.
