Stirling Bike Club's Douglas Shearer (Wheels of Callander) had a succesful outing at Clydebank in the fourth round of the Kinesis/SiS Scottish Cyclo Cross Series. Douglas rode well to record another win in the Junior category.

In the senior race the early pace was set by Stephen Jackson (GMBC) and Gareth Montgomery, with Dan Whitehead not far behind. A damaged rear wheel left Montgomery watching on the sidelines as Whitehead took the lead with Jackson no more than a few seconds behind.

After the full 50 minutes, Whitehead finished in first and Jackson in second. Colin Shearer (Midlothian) won the vets category, Steven Moffat won Youths, and Christine Allan (GMBC) won the womens race.
