Loch Tay
23rd June 2002

The hardy souls that turned up for a dooin (sorry - leisurely run) round Loch Tay on Sunday were -

  • Bryan Russell
  • Iain Nimmo
  • Alan Hay
  • Keiran Hay
  • Andrew Caldwell
  • Dave Langlands
  • Andy Wilson
  • Andy MacDowall
  • Lew Weaver
  • Brian Weaver
  • John Rooney
  • Mark Ainsworth
  • RamsayYoung
  • The Prasad twins

Weather was breezy with occasional showers

Satistics - 75mls Av speed =19.8 mph

Stage Winner - It was a photo finish between BR and AW, only there was no photo, so the outcome is still the subject of acrimonious discussion

King of the Mountains - Prasad Prasad

Longest Lone Breakaway - Alan Hay (not long after Crieff to Kenmore, we think he maybe needed another pee?)

Most food eaten at cafe - Mark Ainsworth (baguette with tuna salad, baguette with cheese and onion, chocolate cake, coffee, coke)
Least food eaten at cafe - Prasad - coke and small sandwich

The habble started at Lochearn with a breakaway group of 6 forming after St. Fillans. If you were dropped at that point (like I was)you needed to get your speed up to >30 mph to get back on (tail wind).
