Crispin 1, Dougie and I have made a provisional date to ride this circuit in September.

It is a big day out in remote countryside - around 55km long with 4 - 5,000ft of climbing.

I understand that a single, very fit rider can get round in a little over 4 hours... the last time the club tried it took closer to 7 hours and resulted in a very late finish  Wink ....

This ride will depend on weather, but anyone wishing to join us should post up. As with all Sunday rides you will need to be prepared for a long day out in all weathers and need to have a good level of bike fitness. This isn't a 'club ride' as such, but a group of club riders planning a day out, if you would like any more information just post up and I will try and answer any questions...

Would love to join in on this one, but I've already signed up to do the Charity Fresh'n'lo Pedal for Scotland event on the same day.

I would be up for that; I gather this misses the awesome singletrack just after the Falls of Tarf on the way to Braemar ?

I did this a few years ago - with a big rucsack carrying a tent!  I spent 2 days and climbed a few Munros too. It was great but would have been better to have ridden it without carrying loads of crap.

Sorry - I'm going to remove my name from this list.

I'm doing the Tour of the Cairngorms just a few days before though Cool
