Hi,
I'd volunteered to help out before joining in the ladies race on Sunday...but not heard anything about where and when I could be of help?
Just wondering if I've been missed from any correspondence for helpers? Still willing and able to help out in the morning though will need to head off shortly after my race.

Dave, I spoke to Colin today at lochore, I'm happy to help setup and marshal in the morning, I'm in the vet 40 race so looking to get myself organised about an hour before it starts, will stay on to help with the senior race and course strip down.

I'm happy to help as well although am riding in the (very) old boys race. Notice I said "riding"!
Also, I have to be away by 2 at latest to get Alex to a swim gala.

Looks like we have about 7 volunteers for marshalling and Nikki and Martin for sign-on so far.

Another half dozen volunteers would be great - come on, you know you want to!

Thanks for the offers of help so far. A bit more detail in terms of the timings on the day:

The first race will start at 9:45 am and the last race will start around 2 pm

We'll need helpers on site around 6:00 am to setup and we'll need a few helpers at the end to take the course down around 3 pm.

Put Garry and me down for a voucher to help David. We're close by as well so Garry already mentioned to Colin about help with setting up apparently.

Happy to help out, would be good to be able to move around if I'm marshalling as I'll be planning on taking loads of pics of lots of people skiting around in the mud the riders and supporters.

David,

I'm happy to help out as a Marshal or whatever.

Also as I'm only five minutes from the Park I can come up on the Sunday morning to help with prep.

Hi Folks,

Starting a separate thread here to deal only with marshals/volunteers.

Race organiser Colin Chisholm has asked me to take care of the marshals/volunteers side of the Plean CX race (in return for him not making me race...).

We’ll need the following:

7-10 Marshals for the course
2-3 Marshals for the road
2-3 people to help Martin Lees with sign-on
People to help layout the course on the Sunday morning

So, looks like about 20 volunteers should cover it easily. Please post up on this thread if you can help. In return, you'll get a voucher for some hot food and a hot drink, plus you'll get to laugh at lots of people skiting around in the mud cheer all the riders on at close quarters.

Cheers

Dave
