Jim is right. Given the forecast and the route I am certainly expecting a large turn out for the Inters ride tomorrow. We have a maximum of 16 per group. If there are spaces you are more than welcome to join us. I will ensure I am in the first group so that I can let you know how group sizes behind are fixed.

I will be leading this week’s Intermediate Group ride leaving The Peak at 9am on Saturday and given the good weather forecast we’re heading out into the Trossachs for the classic Dukes Pass route from Callander.
The route is a long one for the Inters at just under 54mi but with only 1560ft of elevation takes us out through BofA, onto the Carse to climb Hill of Row, Doune, Deanston Rd, cut through Invertrossachs and climb the Dukes Pass. We will climb at our own pace and re-group at the top (for photos & light refreshments). We’ll head directly back to Corrieries via Aberfoyle, Thornhill and back along Chalmerston Rd. We will aim for a pace between 14-15mph avg, although as always we will ride at a pace that suits the group with no-one left behind.
Bring the usual food, drink, spare tubes, levers, pump, multi-tool and the mandatory helmet. The current forecast is for sunshine with light winds (12-17deg C) you may even require SPF… However, this is Scotland, so it could all change before Saturday so please check beforehand and come prepared for anything!
I’ll aim to be at The Peak early, so shout up if you are stepping up for the first time or haven’t been out for a while so I can make sure you’re well looked after.
