They've been 'top-dressing' (as they call it) the main road between Kippen and Gargunnock so maybe not the best way out of Stirling this week. I drove it yesterday and there were clouds of dust being thrown up by the cars, and lots of loose chips.
Another nice day forecast for Saturday
Gentle SW winds this time, so I have the following in mind
Main road out to kippen, top of the world, fintry, killearn, up queens view and round to mugdock/khyber pass, then strathblane, lennoxtown, the crow, carron valley, down to fanferton/denny, over to plean, cowie, and back to the peak
70 miles 4300 ft
does that suit folk?
