Hi Caroline, the route is relatively flat apart from the initial climb up the long line. It’s shorter because of the 10 o’clock start and I don’t like getting back too late! I think it would be a good one for you to test your legs in the Middle Group. Just pedal a bit harder on that climb! 😆

Is it a good one for me to join you Graham? Looks a bit shorter than some middles although there is a bit of climbing at the start .

My turn to lead this week. The weather looks like it is going to better on Saturday morning but the wind although not strong is going to make it feel quite chilly so be prepared. Also, the roads will be wet so decent, proper mudguards please!

We will be going west and the route is 87.9 km with 815 m of climbing so not too bad. Leaving the Peak round the back o' the hill, long line, Fintry, Balfron, Rob Roy, and back to Corrieri's via Thornhill and Chalmerston. Route is here: ridewithgps.com/routes/31275149

See you on Saturday.
