Obviously the forecast is not great for tomorrow with strong winds forecast from noon onwards.

Still planning to ride but if the forecast holds true we have option to cut the ride short and instead of heading out to Dukes Pass we can come back over Big Braes and back to Stirling via Thornhill which will cut a fair bit of distance and time off the ride.

Just in case that helps people decide whether to come out or not!

I'm leading Middle Group this week - weather looking dry'ish at the moment but with risk of showers & really strong winds in the afternoon, so keep an eye on the Forum in case there's any change!

Route can be found here - www.strava.com/routes/16730778

Out through Doune, over Micro & Mini Braes then Dukes Pass from the North and hopefully a decent wind to blow us back from Aberfoyle through Thornhill and Chalmerston Rd to Corrieri's.

54 miles and 2900ft of climbing and we will ride as a group with no-one left behind.

Risk of showers and a decent wind so please come prepared with suitable clothing and bring all the usual stuff - plenty food/fluids and spare tube/pump/CO2 etc. Mudguards are mandatory too!
